My philosophy: if you have to explain it, keep building.

The problems I love are messy, layered, and resist simple answers. My instinct is always the same: make it real, then make it obvious—prototype it, test it, put it in someone's hands, and keep building until the complexity dissolves and the solution feels like it was always the obvious one.

I started as a designer who learned to build so he could bring his designs to life. Then I became a generalist, but realized what I really wanted was to specialize. I chose design.

That decision helped me to grow into a design leader who now is pushing the boundaries on what it means to design—leading AI adoption, shipping real code, and setting the standard for craft and customer understanding.
